Clint believes in following facts and principles, not party lines. His decisions are guided by truth, not tribal loyalty. That’s exactly the kind of integrity we need in a County Clerk. When he got involved in election integrity, he saw the Republicans cheating in the elections. He became a Democrat. After the Democrats started cheating he joined with the Republicans who saw the corruption in the 2020 election. He wants to see both sides have fair elections. Clint Curtis is the only republican in this race. The Shasta County elections have been controlled by Democrats for the last two decades.
Elections are the foundation of our republic. While Clint is fully prepared to manage all responsibilities of the Clerk’s office, he believes restoring faith in our elections is the first step to restoring trust in government. He brings a keen legal insight to the office especially in election law which has been his passion for the past 25 years. Clint will uphold all California election laws—unlike the previous administration, which often blurred the lines between legality and tradition.
